LUNCHTIME AND SCHOOL MEALS SUPERVISOR
Grade 1 – Scp 2- £25,854 Full Time Equivalent/All Year Round
Paid pro rata for part time, term time only role – Actual Salary £4,690 per annum Payable monthly
12.00 – 1.30pm Monday – Friday
Start Date: SEPTEMBER 2024
We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Lunchtime and School Meals Supervisor to be responsible for:
- the health, safety and conduct of pupils during lunchtime;
- ensure the smooth running of meal times by anticipating and dealing with problems both in the dining hall;
- promoting constructive play ideas with pupils during playtime.
Key to your success will be:
- Understanding of relevant policies/codes of practice and awareness of relevant legislation;
- Commitment to and understanding of Equal Opportunities;
- Basic understanding of child development and learning;
- Good numeracy/literacy skills and communication skills;
- Confidence in dealing with young people, maintaining discipline and motivation;
- Ability to self-evaluate learning needs and actively seek learning opportunities;
- Ability to relate well to pupils and adults;
- Work constructively as part of a team, understanding classroom roles and responsibilities and your own position within these.
